Former WJEA president earns Carl Towley Award

Retired Auburn High School adviser and former WJEA president Fern Valentine received the 2023 Carl Towley Award from JEA. It’s the organization’s highest honor.

Several organizations are devoted to scholastic journalism, but our particular emphasis is the support of journalism teachers and advisers in the state of Washington.
